LP (Licensed professional) This category includes healthcare personnel with an active and unrestricted license from the Tennessee Division of Health Related Boards. A list of available boards is present at: http://www2.state.tn.us/health/Boards/index.htm. Personnel in this designation may perform healthcare or mental health duties within the scope of their license, training, and usual professional standards and within the guidelines of the MTMRC. NLP (Non-licensed professional) Category NLP volunteers are professionals within a healthcare or healthcare related field without an active license. Examples would be retired physicians who no longer hold a valid license, medical students and student nurses, and interpreters. These volunteers may perform a variety of duties including phone support, patient assistance, and healthcare education. V (Volunteer, non-medical) This category consists of volunteers without specific medical or mental health training provide a variety of functions including patient transport, computer support, data entry, and patient registration. |
